Damn son this is real charming!

orotmik responds:

thank youu

Yoooo! This turned out really pretty!
Everything about this is great and it's a really interesting idea too!
The staircase shadow and the teeth digging into the skin and eyesocket are some really nice touches!
Rad stuff!

Piper responds:

Thank you!! :)

this turned out sweet!
It has a ton of life to it and looks beyond rad!
I would say that the chromatic aberration in this piece is a tad overkill, this picture is already leaking energy and is super colorful so the effect takes away from the picture instead of adding to it.

FuShark responds:

Thanks dude! Appreciate your feedback. :D

I love the energy of this, and how the muted colors go along with the really deep reds and pinks.
This also gives off a really nice story, in addition to the subtle foreshortening on the building being a really nice touch.
Awesome work!

MatthewLopz responds:

this pallete was somewhat of a nightmare to work with but, it worked out at the end, after alot of time.

Using Photography is pretty much never allowed on the art portal unless you are doing photobashing or the photographic elements are not the main aspect of the piece or are very clearly made to create something else.

ArtBasement responds:

I'm looking at the rules right now and I don't see anywhere where it says you can't post photography on the art portal.

I love what you did with the colors!
it feels both very alive but also not to saturated.
In addition, the materials; her body, cloths, and hair feel soft, and truly give off the feeling that they interact with one another and that they have softness.

My only gripe with this piece is bits and pieces about her pose, things like how far apart the legs connect and that if you'd had meddled with her torso a little it could have a lot more energy. For example, having lifted shoulder going further up and the non lifted shoulder going further down and twisting the whole structure to not allign with the hips would have made it much much more lively and energetic and twisting the hips to the opposite direction could have helped as well.

Regardless, good job man! keep it up.

bocodamondo responds:

i guess youre right, this is one of the drawings i made without using a pose reference, so i guess it shows haha

Yo I love the cutout style you gave this!
Happy madness day.

CaptainJackTHAC0 responds:

:D happy madness day!

This is just rad, and visually appealing, good use of symmetry.

MaskedHorror responds:

Thanks dude!

This dragon is god damn adorable and is very visually pleasing stylewise and executionwise. goodjob!

MaskedHorror responds:

It was fun to work on! Thanks!

The shading already establishes very well that the wand is the light source so the airbrush streaks are not needed, in addition to them being a bit too thrown on and unorganized which can happen if you use soft brushes this way.

That's the only grips I got with this, I love the shading and the colors on her, The shading is very reminiscent of cel colors yet it has it's own uniqueness and the rimlighting is a nice touch.

bocodamondo responds:

i guess youre right, although it would look a bit bland if there were no effects coming from the staff except for some light,
